Modeling of the curing kinetics of acrylate photopolymers for additive manufacturing

Next-generation additive manufacturing (AM) processes such as multiphoton lithography and the fusion jetting (FJ) process demonstrate increasing demands toward temperature stability a thoroughly understood curing behavior of acrylate photopolymers. This investigation targets utilization different kinetic models based on experimentally determined calorimetric results systems. The goal is to determine holistic model that successfully describes simultaneous dependency UV intensity. Two consecutive modeling strategies are investigated: single measurement analysis followed by clustered analysis. In both cases, Kamal–Sourour method provide superior coefficients determination above 0.99. First conclusions were drawn selected parameters, independence respective reaction orders. was then utilized for first predictions behavior, demonstrating plausible progressions degree cure not intensities.
